This calendar was shaped by community voices — through survey feedback, conversations with those who’ve connected with QX, and our board’s own lived experiences as queer, trans, and gender-diverse folx. Our recent community survey found that 55% of respondents didn’t know what programs or services were available to them in London-Middlesex, and 31% didn’t know where to find them. The QX Community Calendar was created to change that. What makes this calendar unique is that it’s not solely focused on social events — it’s about helping 2SLGBTQIA+ families and individuals of all ages and identities easily find identity-specific and affirming supports that foster all aspects of health, wellbeing, connection, and belonging. From peer support groups and crafting circles to transitioning supports, accessible mental health options, and seniors’ programs, we envision a single, accessible space where anyone in the region can find what they need. At QX, we believe collaboration is key to community health. This calendar is a collective effort to share, uplift, and amplify the important work happening across London-Middlesex. Our goal is simple: to help our community connect to what they need and deserve — safely, affirmingly, and with clarity.
