Currently, there are approximately 485 children in the care of the Children's Aid Society of London & Middlesex, and only 121 foster homes. We are seeking homes that can offer both short and long-term care of children, for all ages. It is important to highlight that as with agencies across Ontario, there is an over-representation of transgender & nonbinary youth, Black, and Indigenous children in care who deserve caregivers who can reflect & honour their unique identities. We believe that all children belong in supportive family-based care within their communities in order to thrive.
