Job Summary:

The Fundraising Coordinator will be instrumental in driving Queer Intersections fundraising initiatives. This role involves brain storming, planning, executing, and managing fundraising campaigns and events, while building and nurturing relationships with donors and community partners. The ideal candidate is passionate about our mission and has a strong background in nonprofit fundraising and is a member or a strong ally of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.
Key Responsibilities:
Fundraising Strategy: Collaborate with the events comittee to develop and implement fundraising plans and goals aligned with QX's mission.
Donor Relations: Persue and cultivate relationships with current and prospective donors, providing regular updates and recognizing their contributions to foster long-term engagement.
Event Management: Plan and execute fundraising events, including logistics, promotion, volunteer management, and post-event evaluation.
Data Management: Working with the Treasurer, maintain and update the donor/partnership database, ensuring accurate records of donations, interactions, and engagement metrics.
Marketing Collaboration: Work with the social media team to create compelling fundraising materials, including newsletters, social media posts, and campaign collateral.
Qualifications:
Background in Sales, Nonprofit Management, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
Experience in fundraising, donor relations, or nonprofit management.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Commitment to the mission of creating and sustaining a 2SLGBTQIA+ community centre in London, Ontario.
